With a background in brand, content and marketing, David is CDP’s creative lead, overseeing our brand strategy and visual identity. David lives in his CDP merch and you’ll hear him mention ‘doing his coaching badges’ a lot, for someone who’s not that good at padel.

Matt spent several years on the board of a national football centre operator, bringing vital leisure industry experience to Club de Padel. A Chartered Accountant with a background in Private Equity, Matt oversees our financial planning, operations and sustainability, helping ensure the club runs smoothly and grows with purpose. When not buried in spreadsheets, you’ll find him working on his forehand – still very much a work in progress.

As a hospitality, communications and experience consultant, Lucy has worked with the likes of Hawksmoor, Dishoom and Blacklock, and specialises in building and maintaining hospitality and lifestyle brands. Lucy was recently voted in the ‘Top 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality’ and a ‘Northern Gamechanger 2025’, and oversees CDP’s PR and Comms strategy. Lucy’s a runner before she’s a padel player and joins the weekly run club regularly.

With over 15 years’ experience as an advisor and investor, working for the likes of Deloitte, Rothschild and Inflexion Private Equity, James brings a wealth of strategic, sector and financial expertise. Alongside his operational role at Club de Padel, he currently serves as a non-executive director for Gymnation, the UAEs largest and fastest growing fitness chain. James is more rugby than rulo, with his padel game very much a work in progress.
